My Winter Body Care Faves

As the winter temperatures decrease so does the moisture in our skin. While the average person’s skin becomes dry during the winter time, mine becomes drier. It has taken some time however I have a few products that keeps that keeps flaky skin at bay. Listed below are the products that I use to fight back against old man winter. What are some of your favorite winter care products?

Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash- I love using Dove products all year round however I have found that my skin needs an extra dose of moisture during the cold and dry months. The Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash is super moisturizing and yet gentle.

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Purifying Body Wash- I love how mild and moisturizing this body wash is. It is gentle, effective and it smells great! What else can you ask for in a body wash?

Caress Passionate Spell– I do not find this body wash to be too moisturizing however I enjoy the rich exotic smell that it has. It is a good break from the sweet floral scents we enjoy during the spring/summer months.

Lush Ocean Salt Body Scrub- It is important to exfoliate dead skin cells all year long. However it is especially important to do this during the winter months when your skin is drier. I love the Lush Ocean Salt Body scrub. I love how natural it is (and the fresh citrus scent).

Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer- This is an awesome body moisturizer! That is all.

Trader Joes Coconut Body Butter– This body butter is the bees knees. It is natural, moisturizing and smells great. I have purchased four jars this winter alone.

Trader Joe’s Spa 100% Jojoba Oil– Jojoba oil may be nature’s best moisturizer (because it is so close to our natural skin oil). I just love how moisturizing it is. I usually use this after using a body butter or moisturizer. It gives my skin that extra dose of moisture that it sometimes needs.

Nivea A Kiss of Moisture Lip Balm– My lips have been quite chapped lately. My old faithful (EOS lip balm) has not been getting the job done. Good thing I discovered the Nivea Kiss of Moisture lip balm. Instead of coating my lips, it actually moisturizes them.
