If you know me, then you know that I love beauty products. I also love discovering products that actually work. So, here I am sharing my current fave beauty products with you. Cause you know, sharing is caring. What are your current favorites?

  1. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash– I have oily acne-prone skin therefore I never thought I would find a drugstore product that would work for my skin type. Although this is not new I discovered it after spending the night at my sister’s house.  I didn’t bring my toiletry bag with me so I had to use whatever she had. I knew it would work for me after just one use. I  like to use it 1-2 times a week as a light exfoliator.
  2. Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort– I heard great things about this lip oil. And being the beauty product junkie that I am I really wanted to give it a try. However I was not interested in paying $26 for a lip oil. I thought I would just purchase the Milani version. As fate would have it Sephora was offering free deluxe size samples a few months ago. And after one application I was hooked. It really provides my lips with moisture that lasts longer than any other product that I have used in the past.
  3. Curls Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave-In Conditioner I tried a sample size of this leave in conditioner a while ago however I don’t recall loving it as much as I do. I had a hard time finding a leave in conditioner that really repairs and moisturizes my hair. But hallelujah! my search is over! I love how the product penetrates my hair shaft and leaves my hair buttery soft.
  4. TGIN Honey Miracle Hair Mask- I have also been searching high and low for a deep conditioner that moisturizes, detangles, and strengthens my hair. And I think I found the one. I love this stuff. A little goes a long way which is great because “natural hair products” are crazy expensive. I can’t wait to try out the rest of the TGIN line.
  5. As I Am Double Butter Cream (Daily Moisturizer) This product isn’t new to me but it definitely is a favorite. I have dry hair. Always have. I have to be diligent about moisturizing my hair or my curls will be a dry, frizzy mess. It is important that I use products that are hydrating without weighing my hair down. And this my friends is a winner.
  6. Carols Daughter Almond Cookie Body Butter– I am really enjoying this body butter. It doesn’t have the same consistency of typical body butters. It is closer to a pomade. It smells great and layers well over body lotions.

While I was away, I discovered (and rediscovered) so many wonderful items. Although it’s been a few months, I wanted to share some of those items with you. I will be doing a separate post on my  favorite beauty items. If you know me, then you know I can talk about beauty for days. So I will spare you the really long post. 🙂 Have you rediscovered any oldies but goodies lately?

  1. Denim JacketDenim jackets are a wardrobe staple. They have been around for many years but seem to have been trending in the past few years. Can you believe that I haven’t owned one since I was a kid? I found this one at Forever 21 and I am so happy to be reacquainted with an old friend.
  2. Graphic T-Shirts– I used to have a love-hate relationship with graphic tees. Although I could see their appeal, I thought many of the slogans were cheesy. I found a few simple ones . And now that I have found my preference I just can’t stop wearing them.
  3. Faux Leather Leggings I purchased these leggings years ago however I was really shy to wear them. I traveled quite a bit in the spring and summer months and these leggings were really handy. They did not take up a lot space in my luggage, dressed up any outfit and were very comfortable.
  4. Nike Roshe One- These shoes aren’t new to me or the market but I have been loving them as of late. I have worn them during my recent travels, on casual days, etc. I haven’t been a sneaker wearer since middle school. It’s also nice to be reacquainted with this old friend. I love that I was able to customize my colorway on the Nike site.
  5. Chewing Gum– I know what you are thinking….. chewing gum? Let me explain, I love Chewing Gum- the show. It is a British sitcom available on Netflix. I learned about it in Paris  however I didn’t check it out until EvelynFromTheInternets mentioned it in one of her videos. The show is  about a quirky, restricted young lady living in London. The show follows her life of mishaps, funny interactions and life lessons. I love the show but I wouldn’t recommended if you are offended by the sight of bodily fluids.
